The Ugly Duckling

Mother duck says: "Oh dear, oh dear! What a terrible thing!
1. I've never seen such an ugly cat."
2. I've never seen such an ugly swan."
3. I've never seen such an ugly duckling."
First the ugly duckling sees a cat and they talk: "I'm a duckling. What are you? I can't fly at all, can you?"
1. "I'm a cat. I can run all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
2. "I'm a cat. I can play all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
3. "I'm a cat. I can climb all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
Then he sees a dog and they talk: "I'm a duckling. What are you? I can't fly at all, can you?"
1. "I'm a dog. I can climb all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
2. "I'm a dog. I can jump all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
3. "I'm a dog. I can run all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
Then he sees a rabbit and they talk: "I'm a duckling. What are you? I can't fly at all, can you?"
1. "I'm a rabbit. I can play all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
2. "I'm a rabbit. I can climb all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
3. "I'm a rabbit. I can jump all day. But you're so ugly. Go away."
The ugly duckling is sad because the animals don't like him. He leaves his family and meets:
1. a boy.
2. a girl.
3. a swan.
It's summer time and it's time to leave the boy's family. The ugly duckling sees himself in a pond and says:
1. "Who is that? Is it me? I'm a beautiful swan - How can that be?"
2. "Who is that? Is it me? I'm a beautiful duck - How can that be?"
3. "Who is that? Is it me? I'm a beautiful bird - How can that be?"
There comes another swan and invites him to play. The ugly duckling's - the swan's - last words were:
1. "I can jump in the sky. I'm a beautiful swan! Look at me, everyone!"
2. "I can fly in the sky. I'm a beautiful swan! Look at me, everyone!"
3. "I can climb in the sky. I'm a beautiful swan! Look at me, everyone!"
